Classes in Hyderabad

It looks like I'll be away from Hyderabad for a long time. My friends at Spinn Academy are busy conducting classes and workshops in the meantime and I'd recommend them. Plus, they're now at my old stomping ground - 'BnC' - where all this Salsa Hyderabad jazz started for me.
This is the information for their latest workshop:

SALSA Level 1 Batch starts from 25th April @ Begumpet
Venue: Bottles and Chimney, Begumpet. (Opposite old Airport)
Timings: 6PM to 7PM PM (Sat & Sun; Total 8 sessions)
Fees: INR 1800/couple. Single registrations are handled at the venue directly.

A Quick Update

I'm finally in Sydney, can't wait to hit the Salsa clubs in town. Thank you all in Hyderabad for all the unforgettable dance memories, the social bonding and the realization that Salsa is definitely so much more than just about the dance. It's been an incredible (almost) two years since the first workshop at BnC. My next entry on this blog will list some recommendations for Salsa instructors in Hyderabad. I hope you guys keep dancing.

The Next Social

Apologies on the lack of updates in recent weeks, I'm moving out of Hyderabad soon, haven't had much time to organize new beginner batches or socials.
I'll keep you informed about the next social night (sans workshop), this time it's just gonna be people dancing to Latin music. If you're not on the mailing list, please join the facebook group (link on the right column) for updates.

Last Night's Social

I've never seen so many people in Ahala on a Sunday night. Thank you all for making it such a fun night, we'll need a bigger dance floor for the next social. It was good to see a lot of new faces. I'll keep you posted on the next social, hopefully in two weeks.

Running Low on Salsa Humour!

It's late on Saturday. I should be in bed, but I'm up replying to unanswered emails.
Most beginners are worried about partners. No, you don't need a partner to attend the workshop at Ahala.

As I typed out, '... Rueda involves quick partner swaps', it suddenly hit me - Rueda is kinda like speed dating! Haha, I don't think the girl would show up if I actually said that.

Mixed fortunes. In a circle, you can't wait to get back to the good dancers, at the same time - at least you're not stuck with the bad ones for the rest of the night!
